1. Follow Unfollow
This is the best and easiest way to increase fans and you should do it every day. Search for other pages within your category via tags or through the Discover tab, go to their profile and click on Followers. This will bring up a list of all the people following that page. Click the Follow button next to every profile that has a profile picture. You may need to wait one second between each follow action so you don’t get any errors. The reason we recommend following people with profile pictures only is because these users are the most active and will be more likely to follow you back, and others may just be fake profiles or bots. For every 10 people you follow, roughly 3 will follow you back.
We recommend only following about 20 people per hour. Each account has different limits and once you reach this limit, it won’t allow you to follow anymore during that time period, so you will need to wait an hour or sometimes an entire day. The current limit on how many people you can follow entirely is 10,000 people. That means that once you reach this limit, you won’t be able to follow anymore. To get around this, you will need to unfollow too.
Once someone follows you back, you will get a notification in the Inbox tab. As soon as this happens, you will see the word “Friends” next to that user, which means you follow them and they follow you. If you click on the “Friends” button, this will unfollow that user. Don’t worry, they will still be following you, and they won’t get any notification that you have unfollowed them. This just free’s you up so that you can go and follow more people now. You should keep repeating these Follow/Unfollow actions daily and you will see your fans will increase.
2. Post Interesting Content
To get content, all you need to do is go around and find interesting videos within your category and save them. TikTok allows you to save a video by clicking the Share button. This will then save that video to your phone, and you can then create a new post and upload the same video. Posting other people’s content is fine, however once people have posted the same thing too many times that content becomes less interesting to new followers. If you want to build a real and loyal fanbase long term, you could try making your own videos. If you don’t want to put your face in videos, that’s fine, you can just use filters which place an object or animal over your head to hide your identity. If you still don’t want to do that, you can stick with posting other people’s content.
3. Use Hashtags
You should always add at least 2 to 5 hashtags per post. It is always better to use hashtags that are closely related to what your video is about, instead of just using generic hashtags with a lot of views. Using bigger hashtags means there is a lot more competition for them, so it’s harder for your post to be seen (unless it’s really good and unique). We recommend using the 2nd or 3rd highest viewed hashtag for that keyword.
4. Like and Comment
You should dedicate some time in your day to viewing other people’s content via the Discover tab. On these videos, you should post a comment, and like other people’s comment. Posting a good or funny comment will increase your chances of the comment being liked by others, and when that happens it gets up-voted to the top of the comment list, which means your name will be seen by many more people. Naturally these people will click on your username to see what your profile is about, and if your profile is interesting enough they will follow you. Liking other people’s comments will also send them a notification in their inbox that you have liked it, this is just as powerful as a Follow action itself. So once you have reached your follow limit, it’s a good idea to start comment liking as well.
5. Good Profile Picture
Be sure to use a good quality profile picture that is related to your page category, and will make people interested in your profile and will make them want to follow you. You don’t have to post a picture of yourself, it can be of anything you want as long as it is attractive to viewers.
6. Engage with Fans
As you start getting likes and comments on your videos, you should reply to as many comments as possible. This shows people that you are a real page, and that you care about your fans. Others will then see this and they will want to comment too in order to try and get a reply from you.
